Our volunteers are at the heart of our project and central to what we do.
We place a lot of value on respectful interaction with our volunteers. We communicate as equals and take all requests and suggestions seriously. Our volunteers also act according to the same values when talking to callers. Our guiding principle is: treat others as you would like them to treat you.
The following personal statements from our volunteers illustrate the meaningful work carried out by the organization:
C.H.: “By talking to people through the Mein Ohr für Dich (Lend an Ear) project I gained a lot of self-confidence and I feel a lot more comfortable dealing with others.”

Impressions
The "Mein Ohr für Dich – einfach mal reden!" (Lend an Ear) association enables social participation for everyone. It gives people who have no one to talk to or who just want to chat with someone the opportunity to have a pleasant telephone conversation with a volunteer quickly, free of charge, anonymously and confidentially. As we all know: it’s good to talk!
