Environment

A new route is to be created between the Carnusa Pass and Piz Beverin mountain hiking trails. It will be around 1.5 km long with 70 meters of elevation gain and 60 meters of elevation fall. The final 150 m along the rocky outcrop require a clearer route.

This work will be carried out by hand with hand tools and should be kept to an absolute minimum.
It will primarily expand and improve the network of hiking trails in the Beverin Nature Park, and make them safer. This will benefit the mountain community in Muntogna da Schons, the Beverin Nature Park and hiking guests at the Agrotourismus Alp Nurdagn.

Our project partner:
Naturpark Beverin

The area of the Beverin Nature Park stretches around the Piz Beverin, which is 2,998m above sea level. The park comprises four valleys as well as two culturally and linguistically distinct settlement areas. The park communities have joined forces to advance sustainable economic and social development. They work to preserve precious natural and cultural resources, strengthen the local economy and promote tourism close to nature.
