Our volunteers, who serve on the everyday phone line for young and old against loneliness, often experience very touching moments with people who use this free phone service.
The association "Mein Ohr für Dich – einfach mal reden!" operates a phone line that is available 7 days a week in German and at certain times also in English. This everyday phone line, clearly distinct from the classic crisis hotline, offers an important opportunity for people of all ages who currently have no one to talk to or chat with. Dedicated volunteers engage in conversations on an equal footing – they are not experts in specific topics that require a professional, but rather offer open and heartfelt conversations about anything and everything. They place great importance on meeting callers with empathy, impartiality, and appreciation – true to the motto: We are two equal conversation partners.

- More than 45 volunteers: A dedicated team of volunteers ensures that there is always someone available to listen.
- Collaboration with UBS Helpetica: Thanks to the collaboration with UBS Helpetica, 10 volunteers have already been found.

It gives people who have no one to talk to or who just want to chat with someone the opportunity to have a pleasant telephone conversation with a volunteer quickly, free of charge, anonymously and confidentially.
