Neighborhood help from the Zeitgut Lucerne cooperative: volunteer in your region!
Would you like to get involved in your neighborhood and support people in their everyday lives? With the Zeitgut Lucerne cooperative, you can support others with time and care – it’s simple, worthwhile and brings a lot of joy to those involved.
Neighborhood help is simple, personal and takes place directly in the everyday life of the people seeking help. The needs are diverse, but social contact is always front and center. Our volunteers participate in the districts of the city of Lucerne, in Kriens and in neighboring communities. Sign up and become part of a vibrant community that makes neighborhoods come alive throughout Lucerne.

The Zeitgut Lucerne cooperative is a non-profit cooperative that has been dedicated to promoting voluntary neighborhood help since its foundation. Today, it has over 950 members, who form a growing support network in the city and suburbs of Lucerne. Our goal: to enable older people or people in need of help to live independently in familiar surroundings. Tandems are at the heart of what we do. These are individually tailored assignments which bring together people seeking help with those providing support. The professional coordination team personally accompanies the tandems and ensures that viable agreements are made. In 2022, Zeitgut Lucerne was awarded the Recognition and Sponsorship Award of the Canton of Lucerne.
