We empower youth—both refugees and locals—through Social Tech and GenAI. In April 2026, we are excited to welcome Jamy Wheless, animator for Star Wars and Hulk, for an exclusive week of events in Lausanne. Highlights include the "Rendez-vous with Jamy" Masterclasses and a four-day youth bootcamp.

As a volunteer, you will play a key technical and logistical role in supporting 20 young talents. Your responsibilities will include sourcing free laptops, providing on-site troubleshooting and English-French translation during the bootcamp, and securing high-tech prizes for the student competition. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate honesty, integrity, proactivity, and accountability. In return, you will receive a work certificate and a valuable boost to your CV through this meaningful NGO experience.

Duration:

At least one of the following dates from 9AM to 4PM:

  • Tuesday, April 7th
  • Wednesday, April 8th
  • Thursday, April 9th
  • Friday, April 10st

Location:

  • Lausanne, precise location to be defined

How it will work:

  • Work alongside with the main IT support person.
  • On-Site Support & Translation: Provide active technical troubleshooting during the 4-day bootcamp and translate instructions between the English-speaking director (Jamy Wheless) and French-speaking students.
  • Partnership Outreach: Assist in finding partners to donate high-tech prizes for the final student competition.

Introduction:

We will have a 1-hour session where we will explain all that you need to know beforehand.

Support:

You will be part of our volunteering team, and you will report to the main IT support person.

Tasks:

  • Make sure everyone feels welcome and that nobody is stuck due to laptop issues.
  • If you are coming from a company, ask your company to provide a symbolic prize for the winner team.

What you'll need:

  • You need to be friendly, positive, communicative.
  • You are comfortable with PC & Mac, and are tech-savvy.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Maya is a big plus, but not a requirement.

Note:

  • Networking with industry professionals, partners, and young talents
