Corporate Volunteering at the Stiftung Züriwerks Christmas Bakery

Duration:

Every Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Location:

Stiftung Züriwerk, Schwarzackerstrasse 29, 8304 Wallisellen (entrance at the back of the building)

How it will work:

• 8:30 a.m. Arrival according to your agreed volunteering date
• 8:30 a.m. Welcome by the responsible person at the Züriwerk Foundation
• 8:35 a.m. Short tour and introduction to the team you will be baking with
• 8:45 a.m. Introduction to tasks, followed by taking on your role
• 12:00 p.m. Lunch break
• 1:00 p.m. Continuation of tasks
• 3:30 p.m. End of the assignment
• Short breaks are arranged by mutual agreement.

Introduction:

The introduction takes place directly on site.

Support:

A designated contact person will be available for any questions.

Tasks:

• Cookie Cutting: Shape the dough and prepare it for the oven
• Packaging: Help carefully package the finished baked goods
• Decorating: Add the final decorative touches to cookies and gingerbread

What you'll need:

• No prior experience required
• Ability to stand for longer periods (limited seating available)

Note:

Work shirts and aprons, including a hairnet, will be provided by Züriwerk.Please bring your own spare shoes and trousers for your activity. These must be clean, fully closed, and equipped with non-slip soles.

Notice
The bakery’s capacity is limited. To ensure a positive experience for all participants, we recommend that larger teams split across multiple dates.

Catering
You are welcome to dine at nearby restaurants or bring your own food from home.
