Hack4SocialGood (H4SG) is a two-day hackathon that bridges the gap between the social sector and the world of technology. Participants from social work, IT, academia, and civil society come together to co-develop digital solutions for real-world challenges in social services.

Duration:

  • Two days
  • Friday, March 27, 9:45 a.m. – open end
  • Saturday, March 28, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m

Location:

HEG - Haute école de gestion Arc, Espace de l'Europe 21, CH-2000 Neuchâtel

How it will work:

  • Interested individuals gather at the starting time.
  • After a welcome and two thematic inputs, participants voluntarily assign themselves to the challenges to be worked on.
  • In these teams, solution drafts are then conceived and developed, which are presented in a short presentation at the end. A jury and an audience prize will be awarded.
  • Throughout Hack4SocialGood, catering, social breaks, and fun are provided.

Introduction:

The introduction takes place at the event itself.

Support:

Participants will find all necessary information at the event. Catering and a small supporting program are provided.

Tasks:

Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams on a challenge from a social organization in the field of digitalization.

What you'll need:

All individuals with experience in the social sector (non-profit organizations) and/or IT are welcome.

Note:
