Every year, around 80 to 90 million tons of waste are produced in Switzerland. That’s 716 kg of waste per person! Sadly, a large proportion of this waste is not disposed of or recycled, but ends up in the natural environment. This has both aesthetic and economic consequences and harms animals and plants.
