Inspire youth with the Application Process module of the Young Enterprise Switzerland (YES) Personal Economics program. First, we offer you a short training course to become a YES volunteer. Then you can get to work with young people right in their classroom! Self-awareness and knowledge of the world of work, researching job offers, writing job applications and most importantly simulating job interviews: you coach the students (14-16 years old) in one or more of these topics according to the needs of the class and thus prepare them in an optimal way for their future job applications. You are free to use our teaching materials, to draw inspiration from our other volunteers or to share your knowledge in your own way. We need your professional experience to give the students the best chance to be inspired and motivated! Volunteering with YES allows you to support youth and have a real positive impact. Furthermore, it's also an opportunity to develop new professional skills and access our network of partners and volunteers.

Thanks to our available programme, you will teach 5 lessons that will take the students (9-10 years old) on a journey through a fictitious community to discover, in an interactive and playful way, the functioning of the economy and life in society. We need your professional experience to offer students varied lessons anchored in reality! Volunteering at YES allows you to support the youth and to have a real positive impact. Support people with refugee or migrant backgrounds. Powercoders is a work integration program for refugees and migrants. We offer a 3-month coding bootcamp, followed by a 6-12 month internship. The goal of IT training is to support the Teaching Lead as well as the participants during the bootcamp. You as volunteer will step in and help the individuals doing IT exercises and to get their homework and projects done, onsite usually half-days and online a few hours.You have an understanding of some technologies in a specific IT field, mostly Web development, but also DevOps, Software programming,Testing, Machine Learning, cybersecurity and more. No prior teaching experience is required.

We empower youth—both refugees and locals—through Social Tech and GenAI. In April 2026, we are excited to welcome Jamy Wheless, animator for Star Wars and Hulk, for an exclusive week of events in Lausanne. Highlights include the "Rendez-vous with Jamy" Masterclasses and a four-day youth bootcamp. As a volunteer, you will play a key technical and logistical role in supporting 20 young talents. Your responsibilities will include sourcing free laptops, providing on-site troubleshooting and English-French translation during the bootcamp, and securing high-tech prizes for the student competition. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate honesty, integrity, proactivity, and accountability. In return, you will receive a work certificate and a valuable boost to your CV through this meaningful NGO experience.

Eden-Well is a youth empowerment organization equipping 13 to 25-years-olds to become responsible leaders in AI and tech—turning screen time into purpose-driven innovation and real-world impact through building apps, animations, and other digital creations. We offer 1.5h workshops twice a month at our center near Lausanne gare, as well as in schools and other youth organizations. You can commit to one or more workshops. We are looking for IT/AI instructors who will make the learning experience delightful and fulfilling for youth. Some interesting topics for Eden-Well are 3D modeling, (AI-powered) animation, no-code web and mobile app development, website creation, data analysis & visualization, machine learning, the future of jobs with AI. We are also open to any other IT topic you are passionate about and that fits in our values. Support youth aged 13-25, including immigrants, refugees and locals.

Support a group of refugees during their social and professional integration in Zurich. As part of our group offers, you’ll be helping a group of refugees on a weekly basis. For example, you’ll teach German classes or support young people with their homework. The offers enable refugees to make initial contact with people living in Zurich, help them establish a daily routine with meaningful activities, and support those participating in education and work integration programs achieve their personal goals. Accompany a Refugee / Migrant during their Internship: Powercoders is a work integration program for refugees and migrants. We offer a 3-month coding bootcamp, followed by a 6-12 month internship in an IT company or IT department. To support the participants in making their internship a success, all of them are accompanied by a volunteer Job Coach. The Job Coach meets the coachee regularly and supports him/her in reaching their goals. The Job Coach also joins monthly meetings at the company and supports the coachee in his/her social and professional integration. Job Coaches can be based anywhere in the Romandie or Deutschschweiz.
