On 11 June we will be collecting food items to save them going to waste. The Swiss food aid organization Tischlein deck dich (“Wishing-Table”) will then distribute these at 132 points throughout Switzerland to people affected by poverty.

A 3x3m tent will be set up in front of several UBS branches where we will be collecting food items for the needy throughout the day. These dry goods will then be transported from the tent to the nearby Tischlein deck dich collection point later in the evening. For this to happen, we require a volunteer driver.
Dates: 10 and/or 11 June 2020. Commitment: 1 hour on either day.
Generators of ideasTischlein deck dich
You will transport the dry edible goods in your own vehicle to the Tischlein deck dich collection point. These goods will have been collected during the day in the tent in front of the UBS branch. This may require one or several trips from 4:00 p.m.
Requirements:
– You have your own vehicle
– You are flexible
– You speak/understand German

Tischlein deck dich saves food items from going to waste and distributes them to people affected by poverty throughout Switzerland and in Liechtenstein. We manage to give food to around 20,000 people in need each week at our 132 distribution points.
