Eden-Well is a youth empowerment organization equipping 13 to 25-years-olds to become responsible leaders in AI and tech—turning screen time into purpose-driven innovation and real-world impact through building apps, animations, and other digital creations. We offer 1.5h workshops twice a month at our center near Lausanne gare, as well as in schools and other youth organizations. You can commit to one or more workshops.
We are looking for IT/AI instructors who will make the learning experience delightful and fulfilling for youth. Some interesting topics for Eden-Well are 3D modeling, (AI-powered) animation, no-code web and mobile app development, website creation, data analysis & visualization, machine learning, the future of jobs with AI. We are also open to any other IT topic you are passionate about and that fits in our values.
Support youth aged 13-25, including immigrants, refugees and locals.
Duration:
- 1.5 hours onsite in Lausanne on Sundays
- Possible to commit even only once per 6 months

How it will work:
- We have workshops every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, starting at 5PM. A workshop lasts between 1h and 1.5h. Together with some ice-breakers with students, apero and life lessons section, the entire program finishes around 7PM.
- Each workshop is independent of previous ones, and needs to be self-contained.
- The volunteer will lead the workshop, and should prepare the entire material at least 3 days in advance. That way our assistants can familiarize with the material on time. We have up to 20 youth coming, so one instructor cannot answer all the questions.
Introduction:
- Each instructor needs to send us a paragraph about the workshop, and the dates he/she is available. Then we will discuss with the candidate to check for fitness in our values, and fix the workshop and instructor in our calendar.
- No prior teaching experience is needed.
Support:
- The event organizer (or project manager) is always on-site, supporting the instructor with anything needed from the administrative side (room setup, projector, sharing materials with participants, etc.).
- The instructor (with the help of the event organizer) needs to setup laptops that belong to Eden-Well (only a few of them), and send instructions beforehand for youth that bring their own laptops.
Tasks:
The instructor leads the workshop, and together with the assistants helps the participants in doing the workshop and answering their questions.

- You know how to approach a complex IT/GenAI topic and create an engaging, self-contained workshop (up to 1.5h long)
- You like to teach, invest in youth potential, and witness their growth and empowerment
- You enjoy interacting with youth from different cultural backgrounds, thus expanding access to meaningful tech education
- French or English skills
